Our 3-Step Meeting Process

For many people, it can be intimidating to meet with a financial advisor, open up about personal finances, and share what they need help with. To make this process easier and more transparent, we have designed a straightforward 3-step process at Full Circle Financial Planning.

Step 1: Get-to-Know-You Meeting

Our first meeting is all about getting to know each other. Lasting 30 minutes to an hour, this meeting can be held virtually or in person. The primary goal is to see if we are the right fit for you. In our years of working with individuals, compatibility and comfort are a major factor in your success working with an advisor.  There is no obligation or pressure—just an introduction to what you are looking for and who we are. We also share our philosophy on investing and financial planning.

Step 2: Planning Meeting

If you decide to proceed after the initial meeting, we will move on to our planning meeting. Prior to this meeting, we will send you a document checklist along with other information to start gathering data on your goals, personal finances, and current investments. We will then set up an in-person or Zoom call to ask more in-depth questions about your financial situation. This discussion covers not only long-term goals like retirement but also short-term goals and financial milestones, such as buying a car or paying for college. This meeting typically lasts an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the complexity of your situation.

Step 3: Recommendations and Findings

The third meeting is where we present our recommendations and findings. After the planning meeting, we will go back to the office and start putting the pieces of your financial puzzle together. In this meeting, we will lay out a comprehensive plan for you, including our recommendations and findings. We are also open to adjustments if you want to make any changes. Additionally, we will discuss and schedule what our ongoing relationship will look like. This could include annual meetings, either in person or virtual check-ins, based on your preference and needs.

The reason we designed this 3-step process is to make the experience of collaborating with a financial advisor clear and straightforward. By breaking it down into manageable steps, we hope to provide a comfortable and transparent journey toward achieving your financial goals.
